The main component of NOx in flue gas is NO (95%), and NO is difficult to dissolve in water. Ozone oxidation-solution absorption denitrification technology sprays ozone into the regeneration gas flue and mixes with the flue gas to oxidize NO to water-soluble HNO2 and HNO3, NO2, N2O3, N2O5 and other high-value nitrogen oxides. After absorption with alkaline liquor, the NOx is finally converted to nitrate and H2O. At the same time, the absorption of sulfur dioxide in the flue gas can be converted into sulfate and water. This method allows the NOx removal rate to be as high as 95% and the desulfurization rate to be nearly 100%. Denitrification with ozone can avoid the leakage of NH3 in the traditional SCR method, which can eliminate safety hazards and reduce environmental pollution. The ozone denitrification process can produce high-quality by-products such as cement and flower fertilizer while achieving clean emissions of flue gas, and even create additional economic benefits for enterprises.
